My first experience with Wordpress was a little weird, as every post I posted saved two apostrophes.

All my single quotes get repeated whenever I saved my posts.  Thus

it’s => it’’s

markchicobaby’s blog => markchicobaby’’s blog

Others have had the same issue but I found it very hard to find the answer.  Here is what I’ve found.

    Okay, I have this problem and understand that much…but the fix? I am not that technically savvy. Apparently this works and fixes the problem, but do you have any guidelines for people like me? (And I’m talking I need the dummy for dummies version…I don’t know what you mean about all these access things and shells or even how to find my root directory!) Any help would be most appreciated!

    I would recommend you get your webhosting company to do it for you, they will be able to do it in a snap. That would be the best way to go. Good luck, hope you get it fixed. Thanks for the link. If your web host is no help let me know ;)
